Ferrari Is Building Its Own 5 Star Hotel In Spain. Here’s How It Looks
So what is Ferrari up to? Ferrari is all set to build its first luxury hotel at a location that is just outside Barcelona. This hotel will be opened right next to Ferrari’s second Ferrari Land (a Ferrari orientated Theme park).
According to Ferrari, if everything goes according to plan, then the ceremony for the opening will take place in 2016. The hotel has 250 rooms and is expected to be a 5 star resort; we wouldn’t expect anything less from Ferrari now, would we? By virtue of being a 5 star resort; you can expect all the services and offerings, which are luxurious and classy. The area surrounding the resort is also supposed to be filled with shops, restaurants and simulated car racing areas.
Ferrari has released some rendered images of the design and one can quickly pick off the fact that the design of the resort is inspired from the front wing of the Ferrari Formula 1 racer. The hotel, as expected, will come in red color – the Ferrari Red. The interior, as per our speculation, will be a tribute to Ferrari’s history of 67 years and shall be furnished with the best and only the best of the materials. This Ferrari feat shall be a part of the PortAventura complex that currently entertains around 4 million visitors per year and according to the company, half of the visitors come from Spain while the rest are from outside Spain. A €100 million investment by PortAventura has been made into the Ferrari Land. This second Ferrari Land will also house the World’s ‘fastest and highest’ vertical roller coaster for those who want the thrill of speed and adventure.
Andrea Perrone, MD of Ferrari Brand, said; ‘Ferrari Land will appeal to entire families as well as Formula One supporters. We will continue to further look at the launch of additional Ferrari theme parks outside of Europe with no rush, while continuing to maximize the value of our prestigious brand without diluting it.’
We know superiority of Ferrari when it comes to cars is unparalleled, let’s see how good
